Steel Stair Services: Design, Project Coordination, and Fabrication

In the design process, we determine exactly what the customer needs.  The application of the stairs - specifically how they will be used - most often dictates the majority of design variables at play.  

If a customer has specified a particular design, we work with the structural engineers to ensure that this design is structurally sound, and the aesthetics are visually correct.

If a customer  is not concerned about the design or aesthetics - usually due to the location of the stairs and whether or not the visual “aesthetics” are important to that customer  - then U.S. Stair Corporation will take the approach that is most economical. 

In the event that the client’s design does not “work” from an engineering viewpoint, or is over budget, U.S. Stair Corporation has the experience and engineering talent to overcome either of these issues quickly and as a matter of course.  

Our team coordinates the logistics and on-site assembly with trusted, highly trained partners. We work exclusively with proven field specialists who understand the complexities of stair and rail installations. Through close communication and expert project oversight, we ensure every system is integrated seamlessly and built to spec.

Once the concept for the stair design has been achieved and the design has satisfied all engineering criteria, the data is provided to a highly experienced fabrication detailer who generates manufacturing documents using the very latest detailing software.  

Within our state-of-the-industry U.S. Stair Corporation facilities, we use the latest CNC equipment to maximize the accuracy of each stair component and ensure the most exacting fit and finish.   

CNC stands for Computer Numerical Control.  This is a manufacturing method that automates the control, movement, and precision of machine tools using pre-programmed computer software embedded inside those very tools.  We use CNC for manufacturing metal stair parts to the very strictest tolerances.
